Scotty's Custom Rods - Open Water Rods!!!

I currently have an order in through Scotty for a 6'6" ML Fast action open water spinning rod. I personally don't like anything too flashy on my fishing rods, and really like the quality and attention to detail on another custom rod I own. Guides in-line with the natural spine of the rod, and any of thousands of different options and combinations of options with rod-wrap colors, styles, and segments.

I got an email in the inbox the other day with the following pictures, Scotty took the time to take a few pics in-process, just to make sure the colors where what I wanted:

I called him up on the phone to thank him for doing me such a favor, but found out that he'll do this for anyone who is unsure about what colors they want and how they'll work. Considering that he was willing to re-do the wraps if it was unsatisfactory, I thought it nothing short of incredible customer service.

I sure enjoyed puttimg my new Deadstick to the test this weekend. By Sunday afternoon my wife was using it and I wasn't able to get it back.
