Vexilar Illumination problems

Just got back fromn awesome weekend to be on the ice. However, I had a terrible time seeing the illumination on my Vex's display. (I have an 8 yr old Genz FL-8). Is there something I can do to make the illumination brighter? Is there an inside mecanism that needs cleaning?

I had the same problem. Most likely the brushes need cleaning. It's super simple.

Go to their web site and see the instructions. It will take aboot 10 minutes to complete and you will see a world of difference.
