Third annual Otter Classic to be held January 26th 2002 on Mille Lac's Lake at Mac's Twin Bay. Fish anywhere you want on the lake and weigh-in between noon and three pm. Hundreds of door prizes and thousands in cash and prizes including two new Otter fish houses, a Strikemaster auger and a Vexilar FL-8. Entry fee is only $5. Thanks for the weeks notice.We have been there the last two years, and it's well worth 5$ some really nice prizes are given away and the beers slide pretty good.

super Ron can you keep walleyes over 28 inches.

You can keep one over 28 inches but we won't weigh it in. The fish prizes are for the five largest perch and the five largest walleyes under 18 inches. We didn't want to see big fish being brought in.

I heard the contest starts at 6:01AM and weigh in from 2 to 3 PM. You can fish the entire lake. See you there!

I didn't fish in the contest but bought a couple of tickets for the prize drawing. Super Ron did a great job of organzing the event. And, I ended up winning the Vexilar FL-8. Made my day!

Hey Dave! Nice rig you have. I caught about 30 walleyes during the Otter Classic (lost count) and my biggest slot was 17 inches. Best bite was 8 to 8:30 (a total chinese firedrill!) Great event and well organized. Thanks Ron. Leaving right now for the day, to heck with football!

Thanks guys for the feedback. We try to put on a fun event, I hope everybody had a good time. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. Now that it's over it's time for me to do some serious fishing.
