Fl-8 New Cost

I have been looking at buying a new FL-8. The cost of the 18 is just to prohibitive at this time for me. I have been seeing cost on the FL-8 at (289.00$)is this right? Or does someone know of a place that has them cheaper? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Scheels on 13th Ave. in Fargo ND had very solid trade in FL-8's for $220.

Tell them I referred you and you may get in on a deal.

reedssports.com has the fl-8 Reeds Pack for $285 w/ free postage.

Check Vexilars HSOforum. They had reconditioned ones for 199.99!!!! They still come with a full one year warrenty and at that price you could sell it next year for close to that price and get an 18!
I am tempted to do that myself.

I was pondering many the same thoughts. I decided to skip it all together and go with the fl18. Sure it's $80 more, but you do get a 2 year warranty and more gadgets to play with!!!!
