Juvenile Bald Eagle w/ Lunch (image)

This isn't the nicest picture I've ever posted. But, I was lucky enough to sneak up a juvenile bald eagle from the road a week and a half ago. I was doing my best to hide and take some shots of it and I kept hearing this tearing sound. I thought it was ripping bark off the birch it was sitting in - I looked a little harder and saw that he was snacking on a little morsel.

Nice capture, Michael. The composition is good. And there's just not really any way to make it totally sweet when the background sky is so bright.
