For those who are interested or are planning a trip up here in the weeks to come, you'll be pleased to hear that the action has really picked up!

A couple of buddies of mine fished the lake on Saturday. It took some effort before they found some fish but their efforts paid off. They ended up with eight chunky 'eyes from eighteen to twenty seven inches.

I along with a friend had similar results yesterday. Once again it serveral attempts in locating some fish, but we did all right once we did. We ended up with nine 'eyes, with the largest going twenty six inches. I was also marking a lot of smaller fish (probably perch) on my Vex. However I wasn't set up for them. Heading back out Wednesday and again on Friday. I will gladly keep posting the results. Oh ya, seven of the nine 'eyes we landed yesterday were caught on Buckshot Rattle Spoons. wink.gif
