0 Capt. Don*
I know from previous posts that on this site ,at least, I am in the minority. But I have had the Garmin Map76CSx for two years now and it has performed flawlessly, never a single problem. I don't utilize it to its full potential, I have numerous nav systems installed on the boats, but I know alot of people who use it as their main chartplotter and they couldn't be happier. It seems Lowrance has come a long way with chartplotters and I think you would be happy with either of the units.
0 Bartz
Thanks Capt. Don. The only thing that would keep me from getting a Lowrance would be the built in altimeter and compass feature that the Garmin has. I've been reading a few posts and it sounds like the Expedition or the Hunt might have these features. Is this true and will the Lakemaster chips still work in these models?
