Lowrance LMS-334c help

I have a LMS-334c. I want to mount it to my 4-wheeler, but I don't want to have the tranducer dangling around. If you disconnect the tranducer the unit will automagically go into demo mode. Is there a way to disable the demo mode and use it just as a gps with no tranducer connected?

Go the the menu option for chart speed, and click on the box (ie. put an x in it) for stop chart. That should allow you to run gps only and not need a transducer. Good luck.
