Went fishing on South Long. Sunnies were snapping. Caught 30 kept 15. Chow time now. One guess what I'm having.

No crappies, didn't go on at acess. Right off Hwy. 25 along side road parking.

I flew from St. Cloud to Brainerd mid-day on Tuesday. The south bay of South Long had about ten houses or people fishing. The rest of the lake wasn't seeing any pressure. It still had a few open spots on it. The north end was wide open as well as the south end of Upper South Long. I think the main body of the lake should now have good ice. Keep in mind, some areas would have just froze last night or the night before.
