Norsky
Just an idea for everyone who's is looking for something to do while they're waiting for the lakes to freeze. I've got otter lodge and have a hard time finding a good spot to put my rattle reels. I saw these holder things for sale at Capra's and I ended up making them myself. You take about a one foot piece of conduit, attach the rattle reel to one end and put a plastic conduit clip on the other. You can get the clips by calling otter @ 1-888-GO-OTTER. The you just clip the piece on the conduit in the house above the hole and your rattle reel is in position.
Guest
Norsky,That's a good idea, too! I always use a 1ft. piece of 2x2, with a spring-loaded clamp on the end. They work well, and you can hook them on anything that will hold them. I'm going to go out and work on my fishing gear tonight, since there's no ice here for me. Good Luck,Rusty
