Custom made boat windshields?

I have 2002 Alumnacraft Magnum single console. I am looking to get a windshield that is roughly 24 inches high. Last year I contacted the windshield manufacturer for Alumnacraft and had one made. However, they made the windshield smoked instead of clear. Short version of story is I was out of luck unless I wanted to wait 6 months.

So I am looking for someone local that could make one. Any ideas?

I did have soem Alumacraft but I am out right now.

You can get windshield glass from any place that sells it to fit as long as its straight (flat). Not sure if your windshield is curved or not.

I should of clarified, I am looking for somebody to mold (curve) a windshield to my console. I do have the exact windshield for someone to copy but I just want the windshield to be clear, not smoked.

You can't mold tempered or laminated glass, you need a mold to make either which would be very expensive. So try to find the manufactured replacement.

Molded boat windshields usually are made from polycarbonate. you should be able to make a wooden mold from your existing windshield then bake a piece of 1/4" polycarbonate until it is soft enough to drape over the mold and cool.

Yup, some are polycarbonate. I was assuming his were curved glass.
