"Official" Sturgeon Excursion Thread!

We did this last year and had great success and fun! Cabins are filling up at Schuster's Resort already. Now would be a good time to check the calender, pencil in some dates, and make some reservations at Schuster's before lodging is hard to come by.

I know its the middle of hard water season but its not too early to start thinking about tussling with some big fish in the open water!

For those of you who are tentative, have never done this before, or are just scared smile.gif, we are here to help you out! Feel free to ask questions about location, gear, techniques, bait, etc. Seeing the look on a rookie sturgeon fisherman's face is priceless when you hook into one!

Here's a photo of my 58", 54 Pounder from last years Excursion! What a fight!
