fishermn
My son and I shot the new "Mission" brand bows from Mathews today, and I must say we were both really impressed. Fast, quiet, solid, and super smooth draw cycle. For a $350 bow, I would have to say they are definitely worth consideration. I suspect that come spring, my son will be shooting a new bow. He was totally impressed after just a couple shots. Of course there are a lot of good bows and bow manufacturers out there, I was just particularly impressed by the bang for the buck with these very basic bows. 96trigger
Fishermn, I posted earlier on this bow, it is a great bow for the price. I shot it side by side with the Fred bear Instinct and the Matthews Switchback. The Mission had very little shock, was quiet, and FAST. The Instinct had more shock even with limbsavers and dampners. The Mission was a naked bow. I liked the way the Instinct cycled a little better, but that was probably because it was more like my old bow. I could get real used to shooting the mission, because I don't see enough difference to pay for the big $ in the Switchback. However, the Switchback, was a sweet shooting bow and if I had the money laying around, or there wasn't a kid on the way, I'd buy it.
