puppy teeth

I have a 7 week old yellow puppy and i'm just wondering how long it takes for his permanent teeth to come in.

Teething usually is around the 4mo old mark and goes for about 4-6 weeks depending on your pup. I noticed the front teeth first and then one day I heard him crunching around somehting in his mouth. He was chewing on one of his baby molars. We saved a couple like proud parents. They are kinda cool to see.

Some begin as early as 4 months, some as late as 8 months with most losing their teeth around 5-6 months. As Powerstroke said it usually takes a month and a half to complete.
