Perch Jerker
I just found out that someone regestered recently as PerchJerker. Not that it makes a lick of difference, but I just want people to know and realize the similarities of the two names and not confuse the two of us.Perch Jerker (me)- Regestered since Apr 2001PerchJerker - Regestered since Jan 2004Just an FYI,PJ
korn_fish
Hey Perch Jerker.I noticed it the other day that htere were too perch jerkers. Are you the perch jerker that I went catfishing with last summer at shakopee the night when everyone else was fishing the Belle Plain tourney?[This message has been edited by korn_fish (edited 05-12-2004).]

Flashman
Matt, Send it to me and I'll post it for ya. Go figure with this rain, I just got everything straightened out in the boat to go out and hit the river last night and now it's raining. I just might have to dig out the rain suit. Here is the one and only Perch Jerker [This message has been edited by Flashman (edited 05-12-2004).]
Perch Jerker
Yep.This is why I wanted to clarify that someone else has taken the same (yet slightly different) name. We'll have to hit the river again this summer, mabey we can talk Flashman into joining us although he usually catches all the fish PJ

I noticed a few months ago that there is a Fish Head now too.Not to be confused with the one and only fishhead.I still have that name reserved. Perch Jerker
Thanks Flashman,A little info on the boat. It's a 17' Smokercraft with a 20hp tiller. There is a 2"x12"x12' board bolted flat to the left rail area with 1.5" flanged PVC sink pipes inserted into 1.5" holes cut with a drill. There is also a 2"x4"x12' screwed to the outside edge of the 2"x12" board to keep things from falling overboard. I anchor sideways in the currend with the board on the downstream side and we sit in lawn chairs (the ones with foot & head rests ). It works very well as a cheap and highly effective rod holder as well as a beer/pop/chip/cookie shelf and a bait cutting & storage station inbetween the middle two rod holders. Also, I'm all set to fish two poles each on the St. Croix with 3 of us in the boat, but would never consider more than one rod per person on inland waters - that would be illegal. Flashman
here's a pic that lets you see Matts rod holder. Which works great as a foot rest as well.
Perch Jerker
Thanks again flashman. That's a friend of mine who got his first flatty, it was 29# and hit a bullie. Notice the rod holder in action with a slight bend in the rods with the current pulling on the bait and how it acts as a shelf for beer, bait, feet, etc.PJ[This message has been edited by Perch Jerker (edited 05-14-2004).]
