Is Ford dam any good? Ive never fished it and want to, what can u catch what should i use ect.. also where is it?

Ford Dam is between South Minneapolis and st. paul. It's the first lock and dam. I've fished channels under the dam twice, catchin nothing once, and once with 3 fish in an hour over 5 or 6 lbs. Used cut sucker and chub.
