I wish I had the camera. My boy and I were fishing from shore, and we only had crawlers. We had popped a few fish and I was teaching him how to set the hook. So his rod bounced a little, " Dad I got a bite " I had just whipped it out there, and thought it haddent settled yet. I told him to pick up the rod and try to feel the fish. Is he there? Yeh, I think so, he says. Set the hook then. Wam, I got em. Man, I was so glad to see that yellow & brown. I was so pumped, and I didnt even catch the fish. About 2 feet long, no tape and wasnt gonna weigh it. I let him hold,and touch her for a short while, then back to the river. I hope he cherishes these moments like I do.
