0 Guest
FishHawk -- it will give you temps as well as light at depths to 150 feet. These are especially helpful on Lake Michigan when seeking salmon and trout. On inland lakes you can locate the thermocline in a matter of seconds. 0 Guest
Mine was about $100 and I got it probably 15 years ago. Have only had to change 9v battery over time. Without making a search myself, I would suggest you ask for info on this site. For example, "Anyone know where I can get a Fish Hawk, model 530, temp guage (with digital depth counter and light intensity indicator)?"The best I can do is tell you that tackle shops on the Lake Michigan southern basin in port cities do carry them, but that is no doubt a good trip for a Minnesotan. Good luck on the search. It's a great unit.
