DARK30
I see the 8oz are about a $1 a piece! The mold for the same sinker is about $30. I'd say if a guy fishes the Minnesota, You might want the mold instead. I made my own "No Move" sinkers last year out of steel. The heaviest going 16 ounces for that pan size live bait. WET NETS! ------------------cast,cast,cast,cast......
Boar
WOW, one pound of weight? How do ya cast that? Do ya carry it out by boat then spool back to shore? I'm gonna have to try this flathead stuff. Boar

DARK30
Not to say that 1# of weight is necessary all the time but in some cases it helps. Most of the time 5 oz's is plenty. just got home from Prior lake..forgot how to type I think. Was in the Extra Innings salloon looking for ghosts....didn'r find any....Been 25 years since i been in there1....Forgot what too many PBR"s does. ------------------cast,cast,cast,cast...... Aquaman01
Dark,I recall seeing one of your sucker-tamers. Holy hefty-hockey-puck, Batman! If I run across a good deal on a used melting pot I'll consider casting my own lead. It certainly would save money on frequent use items! Peace,Rob
