As to respond to where all the talent in the metro goes? -Not to the gophers thats for sure. It is clear who the real coach was at Gonzaga back in the day: Mark Few, not Dan Monson. Monson did a terrible job at keeping MN talent in MN. A lot of the mid-major schools have picked off a lot of top-notch talent in the past few years from MN. Just look at NDSU (GO Bison!) They have 4 of their starters from MN, isn't even in a conference yet, and upset Wisconsin at Wisconsin last year, and Marquette this year. Yes, they did loose to MN this year, but was the worst game I've seen them play.

As for Wisconsin, I'm a big fan, veteran team, and I have to root for a former teammate in Taylor. I played with him on a summer team for a couple years and he was absolutely dominant back then, dropping around 30 a game. One game he had 67. Wow! I don't think Wisc has the pure talent it takes to go the distance in the tourney, but will have a good showing.
