Spearing Question

Does anybody know if it is legal to use archery gear for spearing northerns? I think it would be fun to try if it is, but I can't find any info about it when I look in the regulations. Thanks

That would be awesome!!! I do not know though. If you send an e-mail or call the DNR they would tell you. Great Idea. You can shoot carp in open water...why not pike through a spear hole?? I would check first though!!! Be sure to post and let us know if it is legal.

I sent an email to the DNR and they told me that you can only use a spear. Too bad, it would have been fun to play with the bow.
