fishing near blue earth?

Im working outside of blue earth mn for the next 2 or 3 weeks and would like to find some cats or eyes. (shore fishing) I would love to catch my first Flat head if they are there.
any one like to fish with me or give me a clue on were to go. I work till 6 or 7pm every day execpt Sunday, but will fish any night (or every night!) I will camp out in blue earth/ fairmont area if neeeded. Ive been driving from austin this week.

I dont know any spots on any rivers in the area, I have fished walnut lake and fox lake near fairmont but never caught any cats.

sorry dark30 I couldnt rember your posting name and was afraid i would loose everything i wrote in my post if i used the back button to check the spelling of your name.

If you'd wanr to fish my ares, I'll show you my channel cat spot just outside of austin. I have a picture of my biggest catfish so far
.. there must be even bigger ones In there. Judging from some of the bites/runs (and lost) Ive had lately. to see picture look at my "fishing in southern mn for catfish" posting.

Fishdog, I've never fished the Blue Earth that far south. I usually fish anywhere between the Rapidan dam and the Minnesota River. I've heard there are plenty of Walleyes and Catfish from the dam upstream too....Let us know what you find!

Nice Catpic by the way! I assume you fish the Cedar river. I haven't fished there either....Maybe next year you can show me around. The Quest never ends!
