ok, what is the best outdoorsy gift you ever got?

me, i still remember being 8 and getting my first spinning rod. no more zebco 202.

a few years later, my dog ate the handle and it became my first ice fishing pole

  Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday. What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures. Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
