I would like to get a good set of bibs and a parka for my 6 year old boy for ice fishing. Does anyone know a good place or brand that isnt going to cost too much? I would hate to spend $200 and he outgrew it in a year. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Just picked a couple pair of bibs for my 10 year old from Target for something like $15/each. I always wait till spring

to find him parka`s from Herbergers. Bought 3 of them last year, top brand names on closeout for only $12 each, even

bought the next sizes up for when he outgrows or wears it out.

I looked at Cabela`s and thier prices were to high for the same product.

If they/you do not mind Camo, look in the hunting section, they have a lot of closeouts. My son loves the coveralls, I have been buying him new ones every other year. The set I bought him last year was just under 50 bucks.

Hope this helps!

We have actually found some decent kids clothes at Burlington Coat Factory. Like you say, they grow so fast you hate to invest a ton. Word of advice though, spend a little on the boots. You can layer clothes, boots are a little tougher to layer blush.gif

TJ Max and Cabela's bargin cave for retail, Sierra Trading Post is also a good place on the net. Now that my son (9yr old) is bigger we're able to find some womens sizes that work well (picked him up a pair of Simms Classic Guide waders for $50)
