Catmendo
Once again the river's water level's are back on coarse and once again she's producing well. Having said that, the fact still remains that the most productive times for cats is early morning, evening and during the night. The night bite can be awesome if you play your cards right. It's also worth mentioning that the sauger run is in full swing here on the lower Red and there's a few 'eyes popping up from time to time. It's not uncommon to catch 100 plus sauger in a session simply using jigs and tails. Power grubs are working great.Fish "Hard" Forever!
Boar
Hey Stu how are things? I'm still trying to get up there for one more catopia of cat fishing not sure if I'm going to make it. Was wondering about that sauger run, canopy sam an I try'd cat'n at drayton during the peak of the sauger explosion and could'nt keep the saugs of the cat bait so we decided to cattch saugs in stead, they were so thick that ya could just drag a hook through the water and hook up. Bow hunting's a bug in my britches and getting more and more itchy as the days progress, I'll stop in if I make it, if not see ya in june.
