geese on ice

anyone ever set up on a frozzen lake and try and call geese to decoys been noticeing alot of geese flying over the lake and might have to give it a try, thinking of covering up with a white sheet or sit in a fish trap thats covered by whites not sure.

I could see it working fairly well this year...Maybe could use the goose chairs for your cover...

do everyone on clearwater lake by annandale a favor. if you want to shoot geese on the ice, go to the east side of the narrows and thin the herd (got to be over a thousand by the sounds of it). they are keeping the water open there and are loud as heck. there are enough people who don't know the lake that well and drop through the ice here without the geese keeping the water open like they are doing this year.
