SE Montana upland reports

I'll be in Hardin over Christmas and was wondering if anybody has any upland or waterfowl reports for the area.

Well, no reports, so I'll find out myself Sat afternoon when the dog and I hit the hills.

I'll report from mom's computer what I find.

Sunday and Monday we will be fishing the Bighorn River for some Trout and if we have time try a little walleye action.

Tons of Pheasants in the Hardin Area, had a good week except for the snowstorm on Thursday. Trout fishing was hot Sun and Monday. Lots of Ducks and Geese on the river and in the fields.

Next year I'll take a two week vacation, I don't want to go back to Minnesota tomorrow!!!!

My wife is from Rosebud and I was out in Montana over Christmas, I saw lots of geese and it looked like the hunting would be good. I also saw a few pheasants around. I also live in Carver County and it is kind of coincidental that my wife grew up close to that area. Good luck hunting.

Lots of Pheasants in and around Forsyth, Rosebud area also.

I had one of those days when you forget the camera in the truck and about 1/2 mile or so into your walk you discover that the camera is not with you. I kicked up a Golden Eagle that had a wing span of no less than 7 1/2 feet, Man did I want a picture of that!!!
