aqua-vu scout 2 vs. the aqua-vu scout XL

i have been wanting to buy a aqua-vu but dont know which one is better. i heard that the scout 2 has SR viewing and the XL has infered which ones better and does the 7 in. screen strech the view which makes it blury or not. just wanna make sure i buy the right one

The scout 2 has the SR lights, which are small LED lights. The Xl has infrared. Which unfortunatly are some help at or near sun rise and sun set, but at night not a great help. The SR lights under good conditions are awesome, even at night. But it does have to be the right conditions. the Xl has a longer cable as well.

The 7" screen is great, no distortion at all. It doenst have a wider field of view, just everything is a bit bigger.

I do not use my Aqua Vu at night, nor do I plan to. For me it was an easy decision. I have the Scout XL and love it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I like to actually see what I'm fishhing for. I have the XL and I'm glad to not have to bend over to see the screen. As far as lighting, once the zooplankton come out after dusk, you can't use either one. Just my personal expirences
