I am looking for some info on what poeple have done for seating in a otter II portable ice house. I did see the otter HSOforum selling them for about 150-175 for the pair. Is there a place the sells them cheaper or does someone have a better idea.

Thanks

Terry

I think I saw a single seat for $59 at L & M Fleet. That looks like the best price I have found so i think I might swing in and get one.

Buy one this year and one next year. Well, maybe I shopuld get them both with that kind of price.

Anyway -- check out fleet.

I used to use a metal folding chair in mine.. 2 legs in the sled, 2 on the ice. It worked fine and it was cheap... also got an extra passenger nervous in tow behind the wheeler(in sled on chair) shocked.gif

I just bought a used otter lodge from a guy that had made his own seats. He just made a 2x4 frame that hooked onto each side of the sled. He then mounted a boat seat on one end of his frame. It worked out slick because you can have it situated so either your feet are out on the ice, or you can pivot the seat around and have your feet in the sled. I looked at the single seats, but they only latch on the sled one way. It is kind of nice to sometimes have your feet in the sled. They add a little weight, but they are very functional. They are definately A lot cheaper than spending $120 on two seats.

I would look at Cabela's. I just bought 2 fold down boat seats there for around $60.00. Granted, this is just for the seats themselves, no bracket for mounting. I guess alot of it depend on how you have you sled set up and if you will be using the brackets to attatch the seats to the sled.
