"Bald Eagle"(pic included)

took a jaunt this morning to the Sax-Zim bog area south of me in the hope I may just find a great grey owl.......zip on the owl but did see 4 bald eagles!...you know how it is....just enough time for a shot out of the ford ranger window rolled down..eagle wasn't sittin around for a second shot! ....didn't turn out to bad I guess....hand held,full zoom with teleconverter(1.7 Tcon)....jonny

Nice, Jonny. Those eagles seem to be staying around longer each winter, what with the winters getting warmer. I saw at least one eagle in each month of last winter around Ely.

I haven't been down to the lake for a couple of weeks but it's this time last year I saw the eagles. Will have to go see if I can see them.
