Trail Cam. How high up?

What is a good height to attach a trail cam to a tree? I heard somewhere that 3 feet is ideal. Any thoughts?

I set mine about 3 feet or belt level. That'll catch the deer, turkey, and most of the coon and 'yotes, yet cut down a lot on the rabbits and squirrels.

ive been trying to get this down too. so far ive had the most luck with it four feet with a very slight angle down. i take a small branch of the ground and wedge it on the top side of the camera. also my cameras have a slow trigger speed so i have to put them facing down the deer trail or a good angle to it. im still working on it though.
