Oakes Duck Hunting

Heading out to the Oakes area, wondering how the duck hunting has been lately, any info would be helpful.

I don't know for sure.. but I think you're going to run into frozen ponds unless you're planning on hitting some big water. It's not a real thick layer of ice, but there's ice around here (about 45 minutes N and E of Oakes).

Consequently I haven't seen much for ducks lately.

Traveled through there last Wednesday and was surprised to find almost no ducks but things can change in a week
