snake or kettle river cats?

Anyone have any advice on where to fish for the cats on these rivers... I know about the **** off of cross lake but that is about 30 minute drive for me.. and what bait would you use. I ahve used chicken liver and for me that seems to work good.. but that is the only thing I have used

Frogs and cut suckers work good at the dam (assuming this is your spot) The water is high up there right now ... dont get yourself killed trying to wade.
