Big Kandi. Cat Tourney!

Just to let everybody know that the Annual Big Kandiyohi Lake Catfish Tournament will be held August 10th, 2002 at Kandiyohi County Park #2 (320-664-4707). Last year we had 44 boats entered and are hoping for 50 this year. Payout to 5th place.

Sounds like fun! I've wanting to hit that lake for awhile. Never fished a lake for Cats....Could be practice for Santee Cooper!

If I get the chance,I'll at least stop by and shmooz a little.

Dark, you'll definitely have to stop by at least for the weigh-in which is 3pm, we start at 7am. You can meet some of the locals around here who fish the area lakes pretty hard, plus we are always trying to out fish the guy's from NE/KS/IA, although they have shown us some great tips over the years. Last year there were a lot of cats caught and we had nice weather to boot! Sure hope that holds true again. Good Fishing!
