Jimmy from Cottage Grove
Has anyone ever repaired a pair of waders? I bought a pair about 2 months ago, and I got tangled with an underwater log, the log won!! It came with a patch kit. But the directions don't make any sense!! Sartell Angler
if it is just a tear then use the glue it comes with to fill the gap and then put the two edges together and allow it to fasten together.if there is a hole, you just cut out a piece of the patching material that will fill the hole correctly and glue the patch into place. there might be some adhesive material you iron on over this patch to fasten it more securely as well. Neoprene waders are dump as far as I'm concerned but I continue to patch mine and use them because they are the only thing that will keep me warm during my ice-breaking hunts.Good luck with the patching! SIMCOX28
I got some stuff from cabela's, like aquaseal or soemthing like that. It can patch rather large holes with no patching material.
