Hey, I like the idea of using the golf tubes to protect the rods. Where did you guys find those? I looked a couple places I thought might carry them and did not see them. I was hoping to pick some up in my area.

What I have found to work very well for your rods is this.

I took some 4" pvc pipe and cut to lenght to fit the bag. Then I scalloped the edges so there is room for your reels. I then put a golf tube on each rod blank along with a Todays Tackle tackle pouch and slide the rod into the pvc pipe. I can put two rods easy in each tube. They will not get tangled up as the lures are protected by the tackle pouches and the blank is inside the golf tube.

I do believe I could run this over with my 4-wheeler and not hurt my Thorne Bros rods.
