As I am cleaning up the weeds and perennials in preparation for a new layer of mulch in our plantings I could not help but notice a fine new crop of thistle weeds. I have tried spraying them (weedkiller) and pulling them and neither has been very effective. In fact they seem to be spreading. Any suggestions on how to clobber them and be rid of them for good....?
