Hey everyone- I'm an amateur when it comes to chasing river channel cats, but I'm looking for anyone that can give some advice as to how I should effectively pull some cats out of the Red Lake River. I am fishing the cats that are suposed to be lurking below the dam in Crookston MN. Any tips are appreciated.

I am not familiar with that river but I can bet that Backwater Eddy is.If you go to the Red River forum I am sure you will get some real good advice from him.
