Bow Hunting

Hunted last night from my ground blind overlooking a bean field and lough adjacent to the Jim River Bottom. Saw 15 deer by 6:10 so they were moving!! Only problem for me is that a farmer was harvesting a corn field right next to the field I was overlooking. The few deer I saw on my side of the river poked their head out of the slough and decided it best to show up around dark. (Had one fawn about 20 yards feeding contently). Saw 2 bucks sparring and one larger buck come to check it out right before the grain truck re-entered the field, pushing them back into the slough.

Thought the report may be of some interest to everyone. Even with the fair weather, the deer are on the move.
