Okay guys my dad told me to fire up the old computer and find out what I could about planning a deer hunt in Montana for 2007. We would be interested in a "doe" (anterless as its called here in Minnesota) hunt. I see there is an application deadline in the middle of March, does that include this type of hunt, or are there tags available over the counter? I have checked into "guided deer hunts" on the web and well I don't think $2000+ per hunter is in the budget. Any help, contacts, or direction to a helpful site would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!!

You could go to thier web page.

Montana Fish,Wildlife and Parks. You will probably find all the info you will need.

I have hunted the Milk river area around Glasgow and it was a very good area for whitetail with mulies, antelope and some pretty good bird hunting all in this area. smile.gif

We had no problem with getting on land and the landowners were very friendly to us. cool.gif

I know of one large ranch that has approx 100,000 acres and they were very helpfull and nice.If you would like thier contact iinfo, please e-mail me.

They will work with both archery and gun hunters but you will need to contact early as in 6-8 months in advance.
