Several areas around Devils Lake are reporting more and more snow geese moving into the area daily. This cold front is expected to last for a while and should help to push down the geese a little earlier than in years past. A lot of the smaller sloughs have frozen over and have pushed most of the ducks to the larger bodies of water.

More and more birds are moving in every day. A bunch of us are going out in the morning to see if we cant get some snow geese to decoy. Hopefully the wind and clouds stick around. On friday I was back up north by Rock Lake and I saw a lot of decoy spreads and a lot of geese.
