Where's Zito going!?

Always been a big A's fan and an even bigger Zito fan... It's terrible that the A's are already giving up on resigning him... Just wondering if anyone heard where he's likely to end up? I might boycott MLB if he ends up a Yankee... ;-/

Wow! If that's true that is ludicrous. Zito is a good pitcher, but he is not in the elite status anymore I don't think. No pitcher is worth that, but if it has to be Santana or Halladay are about the only ones that should be able to command that type of money. I don't think he'll get quite that.

20 million a year. You get about 35 starts a year. That's 580,000 a start. Imagine if you or I go get 580K a day at work!

Consider for a moment that the Cubs routinely pay over ten million to not pitch at all. Man I'm tellin ya Zito is a steal.

I hadnt heard anything of the Cubbies lookin at him!? That'd wouldnt be the absolute worst thing I guess, I mean I could still watch him pitch a little because we get WGN down here in Sioux Falls and they cover alot of Cubs and ChiSox games... I still just really wish some miracle would happen that would keep him in Oakland!
