Just wanted to know if this is a comon thing or not..

I have never bent a one,

Just last weekend I took my drop down up to the hunting land and lets just say that the road to get there dosen't see the county grader much, L2h you may not want to read this... my shack got air and bounced around for 8 miles down this road and never bent anything now this was a test..

I hear about bent spindles every year but I have never seen it my self. so if you have bent one please let me know how you did it. I'm sure it wasen't from normal use or mabe it was lets hear it.

I had 3500# torsion axles on a old heavy house once. I put them on after iI bent out the wheels on a angle iron style trailer. I had to go to a solid axle and jacks, it was a pain. That was back before internet and being able to see all of the trial and error on here. It pays to research and make sure you start with the right trailer. cool.gif

Biggerfish,

You don't have to worry. You have a very well built frame and those heavy spindles will difinatly hold.

deepportage1,

In 10 plus years I have never bent one, but I have seen them bent. The one I saw was on a home made frame that had no springs and the tires and spindles are taking all the punishment.

Glad to hear yours is working well.

No worries.
