Crops in the morris area?

Went hunting around morris last weekend. Most if not all beans are out. Some corn is out but still a lot in the fields. If it will stay fairly dry this week they should be able to pull a lot more out. There are good numbers out their but a lot of them are in the corn. With that said we still got 10 birds for 6 hunters on Saturday. Nobody could hunt sunday but I would guess we would have done nearly as well since the wind died down quite a bit. As we walked we could see a lot of birds flying and running into the corn. Once the corn gets out I think it will be real good hunting.

I second this observation. Last week, the wind blew hard and cold. Birds were hunkered down in the thick dump and in the corn. Corn is being taken out so hunting will get better, as it always does at this time. Our luck there was about the same as the previous post. My Britt is still a little sluggish/tired last night and mad at my shooting skills
