Is it cheaper to buy an ice rod in their store or on the internet site??? Do they ever have sales on them??

Last year they had a 10% off sell for a while. I think it ran until X-mass I am not sure if they are cheaper in the store because all of mine I ordered from them. I would think you would at least save on the shipping. As a proud owner of many Thorne Bro. Rods let me tell you won’t be disappointed.

The prices are the same in the store, as on the HSOforum. You will save on the shipping, and the shipping ($3) tube price. If you get them shipped, the guys will place as many rods in one tube as possible to help save on some of the cost. I believe they had an after season 10% sale as well that ran in the spring. I got my Sweet Peas in the store, and have had Power Noodles and a Professional Plus rod shipped to here in SE Michigan. I prefer buying in the store due to the service that you get, plus handling the rods, but its a 12 hr ride to the store

Ok now, all I hear about are these Thorne Brothers rods.

1) I don't know where to get them

2) Are they that good?

3) Will I have to take out a second on my house to buy one.

but its twice the rod as anything you will get off the

shelf, at any store.

Bonus is that you can get the rods made to your specs (length of the rod, size of the handle, size of the eyes, paint preferences), at any time of the year. Three of the Power Noodles I've got were ordered in June and arrived in July.

The Sweet Peas cost me $25 each, the Power Noodles $44.95 and my Pro + ran about $63 a couple of years ago. Pretty good price range to find the rods you want to take out with you onto the ice.
