How has the fishing been lately?

I realize everyone is in the hunting mode right now but does anyone have a fishing report for Devils Lake for those that may be interested in fishing?

Fishing on the big lake has been excellent when the wind isn't blowing 30 mph. Walleyes are moving into shallower water around weed beds and flooded timber. Try pulling cranks or bottom bouncers on the outside of the flooded timber or the weed lines and you will have great luck. If its windy head to the bridges on the west side of the lake. Big walleyes have been caught using a yellow lead head and a twister tail. Perch and a few crappies are showing up in the trees using slip bobbers.
