trapsht
I recently moved to Lacrosse a few months ago from Illinois and am competely lost. Can anyone point me in a direction for fishing. I've heard something about Fort Mccoy and also some dikes along the Miss(which I cannot find). Any help would be appreciated
Wade Joseph
Trap. I am originally from La Crosse. If you drop me an e-mail (fishahollik at yahoo) I can give you a ton of info on places to go. A few quick tips. There is a fishing "float" at the Dresbach dam(west on I-94 just after crossing into MN, its visible from the bridge) as well as the dam at Genoa (south of La Crosse about 15 miles on hwy 35). There is also a float north of Dresbach at the Trempeleau dam and another south of Genoa at the Lynxville dam. There is also a county park on the right side of hwy 35 about 4 miles south of Lacrosse called "Goose Island". Tons of bank fishing oportunities there. If you have a boat, the possibilities are endless.
