Was womdering if you have been geting any moisture in your area to make it a little easier to hunt yet. We have gotten about an inch in the last 4 days in NE Montana. Should help with the farmers letting you onto there feilds this fall. CAJ

Region One in NW Montana is out of stage 1 and most of the fires are out...We have had mountain tempsin the low 30's, high 30's in the valleys, and snow above 4000'.

Some good rains in the last 5-7 days have made things a lot more optimistic round here...

Mike. We had a pretty good day today. The wind went down but still the mist in the air. Took a ride to look for Pheasants and Grouse. I think this will be the best year for numbers we have had in a long time. Spotted a lot of big bucks to. They are all polished out on the horns, and ready for the girls. Bucks are bunched up in 3 to 6 in a bunch. CAJ
