Shorthair Guy
Just wondering if anyone out there has a good recipe for Woodcock. I marinated one in some Famous Daves Teryaki that was pretty good but was wondering if anyone had another Idea!ThanksShorthair Guy
Twitter
Here's an easy one I've used in the past..Breast 'em and filet the meat off so you basically get a nugget of meat from each side of the breast.Than wrap the nugget in bacon and hold together with a toothpick or put them right on a skewer...then throw them on the grill and cook until the bacons done and almost crisp. Pull the toothpicks or take them off the skewres and serve them over rice pilaf or even stuffing. It's a pretty quick and easy meal if you've got a few of the long beaked little buggers. ... but they sure are fun to shoot !! chunkytrout
They're pretty thick up here but moving south fast. Try the above recipe but instead of BBQ sauce, try a blueberry sauce. MMMMMMchunk
