Good venison jerky mix

I am looking for a good recipe or store bought mix for some tasty ground up venison jerky, Ive used the hi mountain stuff but it just doesnt taste that good to me, might be something im doing wrong. thanks.

For a premade mix, I like the stuff from American Harvest, look for it in Walmart where they sell their dehydrators, you mix it with venison burger (provided your venison burger doesn't have pork mixed with it). Goes good with beer!
